I've tried doing this actually, didn't go well. Don't do it alone, it's not that easy and can be time wasting if you don't know what you're doing ( like me ).

I tried doing something similar to this : http://ourvintagehomelove.blogspot.com/ ... bench.html ( this is where my inspiration came from ) but a bit adjusted for my house ( I tried to make a corner bench with a oval corners ). First of all, wooden pallets are not so easy to find as one may think. I've come across a construction site while I was traveling and got 4 of them there. They were not in the best shape, every pallet had a broken plank or missed a few screws ( i know it's not called screw, but I'm not sure how it's called in english ). Secondly, making OVAL shapes out of wooden pallets is impossible ( at least with the tools I have ). This is the step that I've failed to do. I've made 2 wooden pallet benches which are not comfortable at all, and look like shit ( I didn't really have the money to buy wood dye at that time ). I had to make 3rd part, which was supposed to be rounded, and put it between those 2 benches. A friend of mine offered me help, but it was hopeless to be honest. I still have them at the attic, but when we moved them from garden to attic we broke one of the planks. If I have time, I will try to take pics and post them here so you can see how it looks.
