In Krasnoyarsk of early June an activists of PR-Krasnoyarsk was carried out graffiti action against the felling of a birch grove in reg. Student City.

Dormitories on the fence of the Siberian Federal University were painted spruce, which were supplemented by provocatively slogans "No cutting down by SFU!". Note that the members of the movement Punk Revival promote anti-state, anti-fascist and anti-capitalist views.

Recall, the scandal over the felling of a birch grove to expand for territories SFU has been going on not for first year. The project is very beneficial to the development in economic terms, as the prices of land in the Green Zone are among the highest in the city. However, in terms of functionality cutting is not effective an awkward pedestrian boulevard, road, which would duplicate already existing today. In addition, cutting much of the grove will increase development pressure on land and environmental degradation.

According to residents of the Student City, they repeatedly went to public appeals to the Legislative Assembly, Head of the city and City Council. The requirements were partially met, and the construction in the birch grove is not yet conducted.

But on the plan of construction a pedestrian boulevard, not abandoned, and the moment with the road left open to question. "We don't know who drew these graffiti, but we fully support them. We have common goals to preserve the forest. And we want to achieve the complete abolition of any building in our woods" - the chairman of the meeting residents Inna Rizunenko by Student City.
