Not saying boycott porn, find other sources of porn. Actually try to dig up something other than suicide girls or whatever big companies, and not you, I don`t know your porn habits, I mean anyone that actually supports the big companies while claiming sexual liberation. So none of it was directed at you personally. And no, I don`t want a flame war either, I just find the justification of something bad in this thread a little disturbing. And of course it doesn`t make you less anarchist if you drink coke or whatever, for me it was more the point where everyone suddenly agreed that big porn is the same as sexual liberation, which it completely isn`t(that was actually directed more to grizzly than you, we might have just misunderstood each other in that point).

You really think that we shouldn't end exploitation just because the exploited people would lose their job?
If you follow this path you would probably have child labour and slavery on every corner.
Isn't one of the final goals of communism and anarchism to reach a level in the society where money doesn't exist anymore?
In this concept you wouldn't have to work to stay alive. And I'm very confident that people still would "work" in a non-monetary system. But they would do it for a higher purpose. We have to start somewhere to reach this level of society/ community. So why working in a business that is known for it's high exploitation?
I don't say that I want to ban porn or to boycott it. I even know porn actresses and sex worker.
(By the way, all of them don't have to work in this field. Because they had other jobs too.
Nevertheless many people are forced to to it. That is slavery and human trafficking.)
But I want to overcome the business and the industry in porn. Porn and other forms of sexual liberation by the people and for the people. Without some greedy pimp or producer who gets 50% or even more.

No, I've never said that. If you think I said it, you probably misunderstood me. But I'm not in the good mood for talking about ending capitalism. Porn is a job, like any other, and should be treated that way.

Porn is a really great example of "the Image" in the Situationist sense. I heard about a recent study that said most American men are more interested in whacking it to porn than having sex with a human being, (much less using their own imagination.) Sexuality has been commodified by Capital, and now is projected (or excreted) as the Image.

Then, like you say, the actual exploitation of the workers is important to consider. Porn actors have a pretty high death rate.

Like everyone else, I'm not saying porn should be illegal (of course), but it should be looked at with a similar scorn as McDonalds, Apple, banking and so on.
