    The Yalla Yallas Biography

    The Yalla Yalla' s a are UK band formed in Leeds by frontman Rob Galloway. 2009 saw the release of their debut album "Act of Defiance", and this was followed up by the 2010 album "Diamond in Dirt".

    The band take their name from a song by Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros. Since their formation the four piece have have been championed by Strummerville, the new music charity set up in the wake of Joe's sudden death.

    As performers the Yalla Yalla's are an energetic, loud, fun and honest band. Live shows usually involve Rob joining the crowd on the dancefloor, to spontanious shouts of Rob's trademark phrase "Rock n Roll!!"
