    Pin-Up Godiva Biography

Pin-Up Godiva are a three-piece Grunge/Punk band from Penmaenmawr, North Wales, founded in early 2010 fronted by Kait. Currently the band consists of Alex Lee the guitarist/ vocals, Jason Lee on bass, Nathan on drums. The band took influence from Nirvana, Sex Pistols, Ramones, Distillers and Alice In Chains for the Audio-rape EP, however, with more recent anarchistic songs, influence has been taken from anarcho-punk bands such as The Exploited, D.O.A. and Dead Kennedys. Pin-Up Godiva have played a number of small local live performances and have recently released their new EP Bored of Beginning showcasing much stronger, better quality recordings. Past key band members have included: Kait x Angst (Dunne), Jordan Goodier, Kushti Westwood, Rae Lewis-Aeling and Calum Evans.

Pin-Up Godiva played 'Pencore Rock Festival' in June 2012 in Penmaenmawr, North Wales alongside other bands, such as Artis Fiction, Zebedy, Severenth, Afterglow, Rotten Plasma, Dinosaur Garden, We Buy Bombs and many more!

Look we're not down with your rape image so don't bother re-uploading it also your song titles leave much to be desired in the way of anarchism so if you want your upload to be available through APN this is it...

Ah, sorry, I only uploaded the image because it is the album cover, and it has nothing to do with actual rape, its a concept about music raping the mind, due either to its tenacity or because of its rawness. Also, whilst some of the song titles and songs may not pertain directly to anarchism, a large number of them do, fo example Fuck your fuckin fuck is all about an anger against corporate music and the pop industry, Dolateriate is all about the recession and its effects upon the average people, Punk Rock President is a directly anarchistic song if you listen to it, and Cereal Box Politics is subversively anarchistic, Dogmarley is raging against the oppressions of religion and Blue Jay is raging against political and capitalist powers stopping the legalistion of marijuana, the powerful medicinal plant that it is. Blind Stupidity and NI are also directly and obviously anarchistic songs lyrically, and a lot of our style incorporates either hardcore punk, general punk or anarchistic ska.

Well if you'll take a little constructive criticism, you folks might want to consider re-doing the cover because the sound waves are directed at a females (blow up doll?) genital region and it comes off as very misogynistic which very well might not have been your intent but it looks very bad... plus you could take advantage and come up with much more representative artwork which is always a blast of fun...
