Also, I'm new here. I quite like this community. I've just recently become an anarchist, so I don't know what "category" I fall under yet (anarcho-communist, anarcho-syndicalist, etc), but I'll get that figured out in the future.
The Haymarket Squares was one of the bands that really got me thinking about everything in our society, and this one song is probably the major thing that set me off. It is the definition of anarchy at its very core, and when I realized this, and also realized I agreed with every single line in the song, I knew I had to look into anarchy some more. I promptly bought a collection of Emma Goldman's essays =D
Anyway, hope you enjoy. The audio syncing is a bit off, so just listen, you don't need to watch:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HeFP_84RBAThey classify themselves as "punkgrass". Basically really fast bluegrass music with hardcore punk-ass lyrics. Good shit. I see them probably every other weekend on average, as they're a local band here but I would love for them to become well known. If you like that song, I have links to both of their albums:
