So here are some other Blackened Crust Punk bands you should check out...
MARTYRDOD (some members in common with SKITSYSTEM who rule as well though aren't so Black Metal-ish)
ORDER OF THE VULTURE
DISHAMMER
...and, not to be a nit-picky asshole, but modern Metalcore really doesn't have much to do with legit Hardcore or Metal (though earlier Metalcore or "Metallic Hardcore" definitely did, and there still are some more "legit" Metalcore bands out there)
I had a freind show me Iskra, so thats how I found them. I found Dishammer in the DL section, they are pretty good. And Metalcore only has breakdowns in commen with Old School Hardcore. Nothing more, nothing less. Personally, I like the genre for the emotion (all though shitty bands like Attack Attack! and Bring Me the Horizon only know the emotion of whoring out money from their Scene Kid audience. The old "Mettallic Hardcore" you speak of, I think you mean Crossover Thrash [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crossover_thrash/url]
Armageddon won't be brought by gods, but men who think they are.

I like Crossover Thrash. Don't know much about it, but its good. I like As I Lay Dying, Bullet for My Valentine, Asking Alexandria, The Word Alive, Caliban, Heaven Shall Burn, The Agony Scene and some Atreyu. Some in that list to me feel a bit... sell outish, for a lack a better word. Depends on what you want. Asking Alexandria to borrow some visual elements from Post-Hardcore (emo) and use some elctronica. Some like Atreyu use more punk with their stuff and bands like As I Lay Dying, Caliban and Heaven Shall Burn are more straight up Metal.

SOADcore wrote:I'm in Highschool right now, so I'm not really old enough to know a lot about 70s/80s punk. Right now I love Metalcore and Deathcore, which is Metal mixed Hardcore Punk, but sadly the lyrics arn't very good and I have yet to find an Anarcho band within the genre. So, I would like some help with the Punk genre. I listen to Green Day (Yeah, yeah their mainstream STFU), Dead Kennedys, Crass, Tragedy, Iskra, Black Flag and Agnostic Front. I'm starting to like Hardcore and Crust a lot more too. Suggestions?
Tragedy is the best band ever. My suggestions (my favorite bands right now): Listen to... Ceremony. Earlier ceremony = powerviolence. Newest album = best punk album in years. Lot's of people disregard this band because of online forum nerds turned critics, but they are amazing and have some very moving lyrics. If they wrote this album in 85 every punk would own this record, but for some reason they get a bad rep today. Just listen, you'll love it. Sample song... Ceremony - SickListen to... Cress. I wish I got into Cress earlier in life. Got them on repeat for half the day. Quick, hard, anarcho punk. Can't sit still when it's playing. Sample Song... Cress - PrisonsListen to.... Deathraid. Fucking amazing. Sample song... Deathraid - Lay down all hopeListen to... OMEGAS! Great energy. fuck. i'm posting two links. watch both. Video... Omegas - Ravages of AgesOMEGAS OMEGAS OMEGASListen to... Rival Mob. Just do it. Video (I'm in this video somewhere)... Rival Mob - Hardcore for HardcoreListen to... Mob 47. Wicked swedish punk. Video (I'm in this video somewhere)... Mob 47 at Varning FestI would have linked a tragedy video, but you already listen to them. Maybe I'll suggest you just listen to them more or something.
