We play country music as if Crass had a core membership that included not only Steve Ignorant, Eve Libertine, and Penny Rimbaud, but also Hank Williams, George Jones, and Johnny Cash. If you understand that sentence, then you’ll be right at home with us.
Qualifications: The ability to play the upright bass, or a willingness to quickly pick up the instrument. We’re willing to work with someone who might not have ever played an upright bass, but has the desire to learn provided that they at least understand how to play music in a fast-paced band. The best part is...We have our own bass! We provide the instrument for you.
Requirements: While we are more than willing to be flexible on someone’s musicality, we will not budge on political and social stances. We don’t need to see eye to eye on everything, in fact we’d prefer if we didn’t. Keeps things interesting. BUT we will not tolerate any bigotry, discrimination, sexism, or hate. We are three extremely loving guys who believe in equality for everybody regardless of their faith, sexual orientation, gender orientation, etc. We dream big. That simple.
Strongly Preferred, but not Required: A working knowledge of a wide range of musical genres, preferably with some understanding of any, or all of the following genres and any, or all of their sub-genres: punk rock, country, bluegrass, psychobilly, metal, rock.
