    Caustic Uproar was a Streetpunk/Hardcore band from North County San Diego CA.
    started in 2000 and met their demise in early 2007.

    Caustic Uproar Biography

    Caustic Uproar from San Diego are a hardcore punk band with that simple straight forward punk rock sound. Though known in Southern California for their intense live shows they never embarked on tour do to various reasons. Many in the San Diego scenes mentioned it was difficult when playing after Caustic, and speaking from experience i would have to agree. I heard they once drove over 300 miles to play for around 100 kids for free. In an interview for a local fanzine when asked why they bothered to drive soo far for no pay at all, their guitar player replied, "because these kids get it" . Thats punk rock in itself. Theres alot of English influence in their songs ie: Varukers, Discharge, GBH, though they had their own style which stood out easily in their songs. They made three recordings while together from 2001 to 2007. 'Victims of Now' 03, 'Just Another Number' 04, and their last cd entitled 'In it for Life' released in 2007 on Dead Records.
